Imad Dana, CEO of Azha Properties, is also an Executive Board Member at Al Zorah Development Company and a Board Member at SI Al Zorah Equity.

Azha Properties is developing several projects in the UAE, including a mixed-use development in Ajman and several branded and unbranded residences in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Al Zorah Development Company, a joint venture between the Government of Ajman and Solidere International, is developing a new lifestyle destination in Ajman, with a capital of AED 2 billion and an area under development of 5.4 million sqm. Imad Dana served as the CEO of Al Zorah Development Company between 2007 and 2021.

Previously, Imad Dana worked with Solidere in Lebanon for 13 years and with Saudi Oger in Saudi Arabia for 5 years.

EImad Dana has over 30 years of experience in managing complex projects from conception to completion. His expertise lies in managing large-scale developments involving teams of international professionals, with work covering all phases from site assessment, strategic and financial appraisal, project funding, legal soundness, and master planning to design management, construction supervision, sales and marketing, operation, and maintenance. He also engages with government bodies, financial institutions, and high-profile clients and end-users.

A professional Civil Engineer and a graduate of the American University of Beirut, Imad Dana holds two Master’s degrees in Environmental Engineering and Construction Management from the State University of New York.

Arslan Alp Askan, Chief Development Officer at AZHA Properties, is responsible for leading and inspiring globally competitive designs and ensuring timely and accurate documentation by coordinating, monitoring, reviewing, and managing all disciplines, including MEP, Structure, Interior Design, Landscape Design, and Architecture.

Mr. Arslan has strengths in strategizing, planning, and developing designs that maximize building efficiency and land use to achieve a high return on investment. He oversees new revenue opportunities and the delivery of strategic direction for AZHA Properties.

Arslan Askan has over 20 years of experience in managing complex projects across multiple countries, covering the full real estate development cycle.

Mr. Arslan started his career with Emaar Properties in Turkey, where he was responsible for the development of the Tuscan Valley Project and Emaar Square Projects. In the following years, he strengthened his experience in the Gulf region with Eagle Hills, based in Abu Dhabi, developing the Marassi Al Bahrain Masterplan. He led residential development at King Abdullah Economic City in Jeddah, KSA, as the Development Director before joining Majid Al Futtaim in Dubai. Mr. Arslan was part of the Centre of Excellence team at MAF, creating value in real estate development projects and playing a vital role in developing masterplans such as Ghaf Woods.

Mr. Arslan holds an Executive MBA with distinction from Koç University, Istanbul, a Master of Architecture from Istanbul Technical University, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Yeditepe University, Istanbul.

Sumair Tariq started his career with Ernst and Young LLP (E&Y) in assurance and business consulting services. He has over seventeen years of business management and consulting experience and has served several Fortune 500 companies in the US and MENA region. Having gathered experience in various industries such as real estate, hospitality, manufacturing and oil & gas, he joined R Holding group in the year 2007 and was promoted to Managing Director of R Hotels in 2010. He also serves on the board of R Holding group with focus on education, construction, property development, and hotels.

Tariq is currently a board member of Ajman Academy, City University Ajman (CUA), and Tech Group; and an advisory board member of Arabian Hotel Investment Conference (AHIC). Tariq is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed in the states of Texas and Wisconsin.  He completed his bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in Accounting and Information Technology from the University of Wisconsin, USA.
